The Italian prog-power metal band Future Is Tomorrow (F.i.T.) was born in April 2003 from the encounter of guitarist Michael Snidaro (Gadjet) and drummer Fabio Tomba (Grave). Their intention was to create a powerful heavy metal filled with granitic riffs, big vocal arrangements, and a personal prog-power feeling.

Soon they were joined by singer Davide and bass player Campo Dall’Orto (Field). After just one more week, the line-up was completed by the arrival of second guitarist Paolo Furlanis (Pablic).

Right from the start, the band focused on writing their own music, and after just six months they were ready to record their first self-titled 4-track demo at Remaster Studios.

In August 2004, Davide left the band for personal reasons and in perfect harmony with the other band members. After a few months, he was replaced by Massimo (Max).

Once again with a full line-up, Future is Tomorrow set to work to record their second work: a self-produced 6-track EP titled “The New Messiah“, released in June 2005.

Finally, on September 1st, 2009, the band released their first full-length prog-power album: “Fit to Die“. It is a concept album about life and death. It tells the story of a dead man, narrated through his own eyes, during his own funeral. It features huge heavy metal riffs, melodic vocals, tons of synthesizers and a Requiem for male choir specifically composed for this album.

Currently, Future is Tomorrow are working on their second album, which has the working title “Jus ad Bellum“. It will be a concept album about war, inpired by Giacomo Leopardi’s “Paralipomeni della Batracomiomachia“. If you enjoyed the choir from the previous album, wait till you hear the new album’s symphonic orchestrations, in the style of the great Italian composers of the XIX Century, such as Verdi, Puccini, Rossini, and Donizetti, who made Italy a world-renowned culture capital. It’s going to be a blast!

As an indroduction to the new album, the single “The Defeat” has been released worldwide for free download on May 24th, 2013.
